Visibility tracking

Track how often AI engines mention your brand

You cannot improve your ChatGPT visibility without knowing your current number. SADARA runs your customers' real prompts across the engines and returns your mention rate and share of voice against every competitor.

In short

An AI brand mention tracking tool runs a fixed prompt set across ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity on a schedule and logs, for each answer: whether your brand was cited, in what position, in what sentiment, and who was cited instead and from which source. The output is three monthly trackable numbers: mention rate, share of voice and sentiment. SADARA delivers this for the Arabic market natively, not through translation.

How the measurement works, step by step

First we build the prompt set: 40 to 200 questions representing the real customer journey, split into informational, comparison and direct buying intent, in Arabic and English. Second we run them across the selected engines. Third we parse every answer automatically to extract mentioned brand names and source links. Fourth we produce the report: your mention rate, the competitor ranking, the exact text of prompts you missed, and the sources the model cited in them.

  • A prompt set built on your customer's intent, not generic terms
  • Scheduled runs across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and AI Overviews
  • Automatic extraction of mentioned brands and cited sources
  • Run-over-run comparison to spot gains and slips

The three metrics that actually matter

Mention rate: the share of prompts you appeared in — your baseline number, usually zero at the start, which is normal. Share of voice: your share against each individual competitor, which reveals who is genuinely ahead rather than who you assume competes. Sentiment: whether you were named as a recommended option, a list entry, or in a negative context — because a bad mention is not a win.

The source gap: the report's most useful output

When a competitor is cited and you are not, the model relied on some source. We aggregate and rank those sources by frequency, giving you an explicit list of the sites that manufacture visibility in your category: tool directories, comparison articles, communities, Wikidata. That list is not just analysis but a direct action plan — each site is a target, and each new placement lifts your mention rate across dozens of prompts at once.

Why foreign tools fall short in the Arabic market

Global tracking tools run English prompts and measure answers aimed at a US market. But your customer asks in Arabic, in Egyptian or Gulf phrasing, and gets a completely different answer naming different brands. Measuring in English and assuming it transfers to Arabic is a full methodological error. SADARA builds the prompt set in Arabic first and separates Egypt, Saudi and UAE results.

From measurement to improvement

Measurement alone does not lift your number. So every report ends with a six to twelve item plan ranked by impact over effort: which page to write for which prompt, which structured data to add, and which external source to target first. Then the run repeats a month later so you see the difference as a number, not an impression.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best tool to measure brand mentions in AI engines?

The right tool is the one that measures in the language and market where you sell. Global tools are strong in English; SADARA is built for the Arabic market: native Arabic prompts, separate Egypt, Saudi and UAE results, and bilingual reporting. The first scan is free with no card, so you can compare for yourself.

How many prompts do I need for accurate measurement?

Forty prompts give a reliable initial reading; 100-200 gives detail by buying stage and market. More important than count is that the prompts reflect what your customer actually asks, not what you wish they asked.

Why is my mention rate zero?

Because a new brand with no external mentions is not yet known to the model. Zero is a starting point, not a fault, and the path out runs through three things: quotable content, a clear brand entity, and external mentions in sources the model trusts.

How often should I measure?

Monthly suits most companies; weekly suits highly competitive markets or a launch campaign. Daily is overkill because models respond to change more slowly than that.

Can I discover competitors I do not know about?

Yes, and it is one of the report's most useful outputs. The system extracts every brand name appearing in the answers, so names you never considered rivals often surface occupying your place in the answer.
