AI visibility statistics for Arabic websites
Numbers from our actual scans rather than marketing estimates, with the sample size, methodology and its limits stated openly.
In short
As of this page's date, the average visibility score for Arabic sites scanned through SADARA is around 31 out of 100. The recurring pattern: technical health and content readiness sit in an acceptable range, while source strength and mention rate inside AI answers are near zero. The practical conclusion: most Arabic sites are not technically broken — they are simply unknown to the models because nobody mentions them off-site.
- Average visibility score ≈ 31 out of 100
- Always weakest: source strength and mention rate
- Usually strongest: technical SEO and content readiness
- The sample is small and disclosed — not a national survey
Methodology and sample size
Each scan runs a real Arabic query set (up to 40 queries) across multiple generative engines and records whether the brand is named, at what position, and which competitors appear. Results roll into a score out of 100 built on four pillars: technical SEO, content readiness, source strength and mention rate versus competitors. The current sample is dozens of sites, not thousands, mostly service businesses and SMEs in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE — so treat the figures as an early directional signal, not a representative market survey.
Finding one: the gap is not technical
In most scans the technical pillar exceeds 80 while mention rate stays at zero. That means the difference between a cited site and an ignored one is not page speed or tags, but the existence of trusted off-site mentions: articles, directories, press, profiles and content others quote. For most Arabic companies today the right investment is entity and mention building, not another site redesign.
Finding two: competitors win specific queries
Scans show absence is concentrated rather than total: you lose a specific cluster of queries that one or two competitors win, usually because they have a page answering that exact question in clear Arabic. Addressing ten chosen queries with serious pages moves the score faster than publishing fifty generic articles.
Finding three: translated English content is not cited
Sites relying on machine translation of English content score superficially high on content readiness but low on mention rate. Models cite text that answers the Arabic question as people actually phrase it, and literal translation loses that match.
How to use these numbers
Measure your site first and compare your score with the average above, then start from your weakest pillar. If mention rate is zero, prioritise off-site mentions and pages answering specific queries rather than further technical tuning. Re-measure after a month to confirm the trend.
Frequently asked questions
What is the average AI visibility score for Arabic sites?
In SADARA's scan sample so far the average is close to 31 out of 100, with severe weakness in source strength and mention rate. The sample is dozens of sites, not thousands.
Why not publish the list of scanned sites?
Scans belong to their owners and we do not publish any individual site's data. We publish averages and patterns without identifying anyone.
Will these numbers be updated?
Yes. We update them whenever the sample grows enough to shift the trend, and we always state the current sample size rather than giving a number without context.
How do I learn my own score?
Run a free scan from the audit page; you get the score, the four pillars and the list of queries your competitors win.
